A focused fastener repair
The October 2026 repair plan covers one defined section of existing through-fastened panels. The proposed method replaces old fasteners with oversized self-drilling fasteners and new EPDM washers.
Sealing without overdriving
Proper compression of the sealing washer is central to the proposed detail. The scope also calls for collecting metal shavings and documenting unexpected conditions before additional work is considered.
